New Mural unveiled in The Graham Centre

phase 2A 020.jpg

We are proud to unveil our newly painted mural in the main hall of the Graham Centre

We have to thank Jo Spirling, the artist whose inspiration and creative ideas made this happen, to the members of the Brigades and pupils of Parklands School who carried out the actual painting of the mural and to Manchester City Council who granted us a CASH grant to actually make this happen.

The design is to reflect the hope that the church can offer the community, to ‘bring the outside in' and to be inspiring. The buildings are suggestive of the area. The river represents the life and hope that the church can bring. The pathway represents the journey we are all on together-with the group of people    representing the community.
